9. Drawing Nature in Thread (1 day) |

Students will be encouraged to capture the beauty of nature
using free motion stitching.
They will learn how to get the best stitch on their machine then have fun practicing interesting textures and outlines. And this is all before lunch! In the afternoon, participants will create a small wall hanging featuring a simple background and luscious machine embroidery.
Note - There is an option of a kit of hand painted and dyed fabrics for this section
